Hi, my name is Karla Nichols.

I am the Sunday school director here at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church.

I was wonderfully saved into this beautiful truth of God in August of 1976.

Right away God involved me in children’s ministries.  I have a special love for children that only God could have put there. He has given me the ability to teach them in a simple straightforward way that they can understand.

I worked on the bus route for many years. Though it was more like playing, and we had some great times.  I was a Sunday school teacher during that time also.

I became the Vacation Bible School director and over saw that ministry for several years.

In my secular life I worked in the nursing field for over 40 years and ran a daycare out of my home that cared for 11 children every day.

In my spare time I became a clown. I am “Miss Liberty” and I spread happy where ever I go. Magic tricks and Bible lessons go together very well.

I believe in teaching young minds to think and look for truth in their lives.

I have tried my hand at writing children’s books but have not published as of yet.

We would love to have your children come to Sunday school and learn about Jesus. Our teachers are dedicated to teaching. And they will go the 2nd and 3rd mile to fulfill that goal.

I am also the director of our Out-Reach department. It seems like Sunday school and Out-Reach go hand in hand.

Please feel free to contact our church about needs we may be able to help with.

Please know that you are always welcome here. We are one big family with our ups and downs, and honest about it.

So come visit us soon and hopefully you will stay to join our wonderful family of God.

God’s Blessings to you and yours!

About Our Classes

The Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Waterloo Sunday School Department has something to offer individuals of all ages, from toddlers to adults. We understand that children are just like grownups, they too can worship, pray, and grow in their walk with God.  Matthew 19:14 says, “But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
